St Oswald's Village Hall, St Oswald's Road, Gloucester, GL1 2SG

St Oswald's Village for older people opened to its residents in October 2010.

The Village has 166 apartments offering sheltered housing and a whole range of social facilities, which are also open to members of the local community. Located on the site of the old Cattle Market, the Village is very accessible to all.

Central to these facilities is the village hall, which has been supported by The Gloucestershire Environmental Trust.

It is used for a wide range of activities for people of all ages and interests. These include tabletennis, bowls, exercise groups, ballroom dancing, drama, film nights and concerts. Since the Village opened, a wide range of groups and organisations have used the hall, including Gloucester City Council, Age UK, the British Heart Foundation, Royal British Legion, Scouts, the local MP and many meetings, events and parties.
