Oxenhall Parish Hall, Winter's Lane, Oxenhall, Newent, Gloucestershire, GL18 1RN
Oxenhall Parish Hall was officially opened by the High Sheriff of Gloucestershire, Ceri Evans, in June 2010 after an extensive refurbishment costing £100,000.
The Gloucestershire Environmental Trust initiated the project, giving a generous grant of £25,000 for the first stage of the project to build the kitchen extension.
The kitchen was completed in time for the Daffodil Tea Weekend in March 2010, a circular walk through local woodland and meadows during daffodil season followed by refreshments.
As the hall is the only community amenity in the parish, the improvements will play an important role, providing social and recreational facilities for the local people, as well as a venue for visitors to enjoy this picturesque part of the county.
