The project involves works to enhance habitat and protect the River Thames in order to establish better aquatic and marginal vegetation, allow water voles to expand their range upstream, protect kingfisher nesting habitat,enhance the river for brown trout

These works include bank reinforcement works, installing fencing, shade reduction via pollarding/crown raising of trees and installing Large Woody Debris deflectors.
